Cybersecurity Intern — Shadowfox - Chennai
- Conducted web application reconnaissance and security testing on a designated vulnerable application, identifying open ports, directories, and exposed services to understand the application's attack surface.
- Used Wireshark to capture and analyze network traffic during a controlled login scenario, examining HTTP authentication traffic and understanding the risks of transmitting credentials without adequate encryption.
- Performed hands-on cryptographic and executable analysis using VeraCrypt and PE Explorer, including encrypted-file analysis and executable entry-point identification.
- Practiced penetration-testing techniques in an isolated virtual lab, using Metasploit to create a test payload and establish a controlled reverse-shell connection between virtual machines.
- Conducted an authorized wireless security assessment on a personal lab network, capturing the WPA handshake, testing password strength with a controlled wordlist, and documenting the methodology, findings, and security recommendations.

- Developed a Password Strength Analyzer & Password Generator implementing password policies and secure generation techniques
